In January 2026, we partnered with Voss Strategies to learn more about Americans’ support for sex education, and trans-inclusive sex education in particular. The results were so exciting that we replicated and expanded on our questions in partnership with YouGov in April 2026.
That study confirmed what we learned in January: Despite years of MAGA attacks, supermajorities of Americans still want schools to teach sex education that includes age-appropriate lessons on healthy relationships, anti-bullying, self-esteem and body image, and consent and boundaries. And, thrillingly, support for sex ed holds strong and steady when we specify that it’s inclusive and affirming of transgender students.
